Sometimes, I wish I was born Latina
Forgive me but I am not yet over our Japan trip. I do hope you all enjoyed my previous posts.
Being born in a country where there are only two seasons: hot and hotter, I have always been a fan of winter clothes. They make you look stylish and elegant. Most importantly, they hide your fats! Haha.

This is Part 5 of a 5 Part Series that describes in detail my
family’s 6D/5N Trip to Osaka, Japan.
We spent four days
discovering the cultural and more traditional sights that Osaka has to offer.
For our fifth day, however, we visited the modern part of Osaka, its
transportation hub, shopping and business district, Umeda.

Having explored Nara and
Kyoto on our second and third days in Japan, we decided to explore Osaka on our
fourth day.

Like Nara, Kyoto also used
to be the capital of Japan. As a center of learning and culture, Kyoto is an
important part of one’s travel plans to Kansai. I have to admit, however, that
the schedule that I have allotted for this trip was relatively insufficient to
fully explore this magnificent city.
Hatsumode: The First Shrine Visit for the Year
This is Part 2 of a 5 Part Series that describes in detail my
family’s 6D/5N Trip to Osaka, Japan.
While working on our
itinerary, I chanced upon an article stating that most tourist attractions are
closed on New Year’s Day. I read that in visiting Japan during the New Year, it
is best to join the crowd doing hatsumode, the first visit to a shrine or
temple. What better way to experience this festival than visit Nara, Japan’s
first permanent capital which houses the oldest and largest temples.

Since I was a kid, my mom
has always wanted to spend New Year’s Eve in a place other than Manila. As many
of you know by the now, New Year’s Eve in Manila is very loud and dangerous
most especially it is common in this country to welcome the New Year by firing
guns, thus the increasing number of victims of the ligaw na bala.
However, it was only last
year that we had the chance to go out of town on New Year’s Eve. We welcomed
2015 in Puerto Princesa. This year, we flew all the way to Osaka.

Christchurch used to be a European Settlement. That's probably why it gives of a very distinct European vibe.

Hongkong Disneyland, 2011
It was my mom's dream to bring us, her children to Disneyland. She brought me and one of my brothers to Disneyland, Los Angeles back in 1996. Then in 2004, she brought her four kids to Disneyworld, Orlando. Still, theme parks have been a staple in our itineraries whenever we travel.
Perhaps, one of the things I regret is not going after my dream of going to another country to study. When I was in high school, I would always tell my friends that I would fly to the United States right after graduation to study there. Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of that goal.
I have always dreamt of travelling the world. I was exposed at a very young age to travelling because my mom used to work for an airline company. However, there are still tons of beautiful places to visit and explore.
The Ten Places on my Bucket List after the cut!
