Interstate Tour: Philadelphia, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands |
We booked a three-day tour with Take Tours. On the first day of the trip, we boarded their bus in New Jersey. Aside from transportation, the tour also included hotel accommodations for two nights: In a Best Western in during the first night and in a Holiday Inn during the second night.
The first stop is at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Aside from the Philly Cheesesteak, Philadelphia is widely known for its rich history. It served as the First Capital of the United States while Washington D.C. was undergoing construction. The highlights of this trip were the tour of the Independence Hall (where the Constitution of the United States of America was debated upon and signed) and the Liberty Bell, the iconic symbol of American Independence.

Finally, on our third day, we went on a cruise featuring the Thousand Islands. The Thousand Islands lie on the border of Canada and the United States. The cruise features the magnificent vacation homes of the elite.
