Despite the heavy rains last night, my highschool barkada met up for our annual Christmas Party. The rain was pouring non-stop since 8am. But in spite of the threat of severe flooding, we continued on with our party. You see, my friends and I barely meet because of our crazy schedules. One of my friends took the Medicine Board Exam this year and is now starting her first year of residency. Another friend will start reviewing for the Boards. And I just finished the Bar Exam. So yes, it's difficult to schedule a get together. 

For the first time in x years, all of us have boyfriends. Alas, three of us were not able to bring our pluses because of scheduling conflicts. After all, it is the last weekend before Christmas. 

We had a quiet dinner in one of our friend's house in the South. We bonded over steak, wine, chips and dips. We felt so grown up taking about our careers, our plans for the future and the upcoming wedding of one of our friends. It is definitely a far cry from our parties in the past where we'd meet up in a restaurant, have drinks in a bar and get drunk. Here's a picture of our Christmas get together four years ago:

Oh yes, we weren't titas yet back in 2011. Haha! But somethings never change. Like how we bash the guys we used to date and the girls our current partners used to date. Haha! 

Highschool, is indeed, forever! 

Oh and here's my #OOTD. I had a long day. I've been up by 630. Braved the heavy traffic and rains at 9am to make it to our appointment at the dressmaker at 11. And drove all the way to the South to make it in time for our Christmas party. I got home a little before 2am. Thus, the face.
