Bright nails, Swollen Face

Bright nails to cover my swollen face
That's my baby brother behind me :D

I've been on bed rest since Monday following the extraction of two of my wisdom teeth. I still feel pain every time I open my mouth. Hence, I am still on soft diet.

I am so happy of what I have accomplished for the past two weeks. As you may remember, the Bar Examinations ended last 29 November 2015. When the exams ended, I felt fat and ugly. I gave in to my craving during the bar month. My hair was very long and untreated. My skin broke out. And I haven't had a decent trip to the nail spa in over a month. Plus, my wisdom teeth have been aching like crazy.

I have delayed the extraction of my wisdom teeth for over four years. Primarily, because I was afraid of dentists. Secondly, because I didn't like the idea of spending two whole weeks in bed. But the surgery became inevitable. Prior to surgery, I did everything I had to do. I went to the derma and to the salon. I finished everything on my to do list so that I could spend five days in bed, without anything to worry about.

The extraction of my wisdom teeth was not as painful as I imagined it to be. At the end, I even had to ask myself why I had to delay the surgery. The pain of having it there cannot compare to what I have experienced during and after the surgery (well, thank you Lord for anaesthesia and painkillers!).

I welcomed the downtime that was imposed by my dentist. Now, I feel so refreshed. When I felt like I have recovered, I immediately went to the nail spa to have my nails done.

I don't feel fat and ugly anymore. Well, except for my swollen face. But that's what bright nails are for right?
