Sometimes, I wish I was born Latina

I've always dreamt of travelling around the world or at least going to one country in all continents. While Europe has always been and will always be on top of my bucket list, I may have to prioritize Latin American countries first, preferably this 2016 or early 2017.


The idea of visiting Latin American countries came to  me a week ago after talking to one of my good friends in college. I told her that one of my greatest dreams is to travel alone. To my surprise, she said that to travel alone is also her wish. This surprised me a bit. You see, she is a Flight Attendant. I always thought she travelled alone most of the time. She invited me to explore Latin America with her- Mexico, Brazil and Peru more specifically. 

As I said, there's a part of me that wishes I was born Latina. I have always been fascinated with Latin America- their colorful culture, the stunning scenery and of course, the food. In some ways, Latin American countries feel like home, thanks to our shared history with the Spanish Colonial Masters. 

I also watched Sex and the City (the Movie) earlier. It made me want to visit Mexico more. Like Carrie and her friends, I too, want to bask in the glorious Mexican sun as I sip margaritas. 




I also want to visit Brazil and see Christ the Redeemer. 


And finally, to explore Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires, one of the liveliest cities in Latin America.
