#FlashbackFriday: Sydney

The Sydney Harbour Bridge

My mom brought me with her to one of her business trips to Sydney back in 2009. I never had the chance to thoroughly tour the city as I was alone. If I remember correctly, I spent most of my time in the hotel room or walking around the city, hunting for shopping malls.

On our second day in Sydney, the daughter of my mom's colleague toured me around the city. She is a pretty fascinating tour guide considering the fact that she was only eight years old then. I was 21. Hehe.We spent the whole day touring Circular Quay, the Rocks and admiring the Sydney Opera House.

On our last day, mom and I visited the St. Mary's Cathedral before heading to the airport.

I had very fond memories of Sydney. It was a dream come true to have visited Australia since I truly wanted to pay all continents a visit. Hehe. Unfortunately, I feel like the time I spent in the city is not just sufficient to explore the magnificent capital of Australia. I wish to be back with a well-prepared itinerary, just like what I did in Japan. Hence, I'm putting Sydney back on my bucket list. :)
