I cannot believe I am posting about food again. I am supposed to be on a diet. Then again, it's Valentine's.

My boyfriend and I spent valentine's with our families. Hence, we celebrated Valentine's a day after. We once again broke our strict diet because of this special occasion.

We have not always been fond of fancy celebrations. We opt for simpler restaurants, preferably those that serve what we are craving for that particular day. We were craving for ribs yesterday. Thus, we had our Post-Valentine's Day lunch at Rub Ribs & BBQ in Dona Roces, Quezon City. 

 I honestly do not love ribs so much. I barely crave for ribs. Rub Ribs & BBQ, however, has been a delightful experience. The food is very good. The meat is tender and the sauce, flavorful. Too bad they were out of potato fries, though. As we were on a diet, my boyfriend and I also stuck with the buttered vegetables that came with our orders, without having to get the sides that could be purchased separately. Maybe we can come back on a cheat day. Hehe. Still, the nachos are very good. And the house blend iced tea is divine!

It was truly a good place to celebrate love. Yes, my boyfriend and I are not so fond of fancy celebrations (well except for our anniversaries). Truth be told, to celebrate love, all we need is good food, and each other. A bit cheesy? Hey, it's Valentines.
